We have the equipment and parts to keep your mining operation working more productively and efficiently, wherever you mine.
BTP is proud to support hands-on training by donating industry-relevant components to Zeal Futures for their apprentice training programs in Rutherford. BTP donated a number of transmissions, torque convertors and differentials to give students the opportunity to get more practical experience.
The components will be used by students studying a Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology (AUR31220). This trade training program was introduced by Zeal Futures last June through a partnership with Glencore, providing specialised training opportunities for apprentices employed across the mining industry.
Pictured are Colin Kirkwood and Mark Ostermann from Glencore, Stephen Tritten from BTP and the students and team from Zeal Futures at the official handing-over of the BTP driveline components.
Access to genuine, industry-relevant components allows apprentices to move beyond theory and develop the practical skills that directly translate to the workplace.
BTP is proud to play a supporting role in developing future tradespeople and strengthening skills pathways in the Hunter Valley, helping ensure the region continues to support a highly specialised and evolving resources sector.
